16mm Polycarbonate roofing system - Now only used in very basic conservatories, it is not considered technically efficient any longer by any quality home improvements company. We provide 25mm polycarbonate as standard and offer you the choice of clear, bronze or opal tints at no extra cost.

Modular conservatory systems (Standard Sizes) - mainly offered by the large DIY warehouses, these conservatories are constructed from standard size panels linked together. This enables them to stock-pile panels, glass and roofs which often mean’s that your conservatory could be made up of components manufactured at different times and usually held in stock at a central warehouse. We believe a conservatory should be manufactured to order to ensure consistent quality and use of the latest materials.

24mm Sealed Units - Offering only a 16mm air gap, 24mm units are not as thermally efficient as our 28mm sealed units which incorporate an additional 20% air gap. This provides the optimum benefits of higher sound insulation and increased thermal properties.

Glass – Under current regulations, if you were replacing windows in your house you have to use a Low E performance glass. There is currently no regulation regarding the use of Low E glass in conservatory construction and therefore many suppliers continue to use standard toughened glass due to the cost savings available. At Ezze Conservatories we believe in providing the highest specification available and therefore all our conservatories feature Triple Shield Low E Argon gas filled sealed units offering considerable performance benefits over standard glass including reduced solar gain. Standard air filled sealed units will lose over two and a half times the heat than Triple Shield Sealed Units which have an impressive 1.1 U value.

Opening Vents – Ventilation in any conservatory is very important. Most of our competitors will only provide two opening vents as standard. Any conservatory will benefit from plentiful ventilation, particularly south facing properties. All our DIY conservatories are supplied with a minimum four vents as standard with the option of more if you require.
